To Book Driving Lessons:
Passing a driving test in the UK on the go is not a piece of cake. It consists of rigorous testing and examination of the candidate’s competency and proficiency in driving skills. The driving test designed by DVSA consists of two parts, i.e. the theory test and the practical test.
Understanding both of them in one go can be daunting, so we have explained the theory test. Please continue reading to understand how you can book the test when it’s necessary, what the test consists of, and how you can clear it!
When Is the Driving Theory Test Required?
The theory test is required in the following cases:
If you want a driving licence for the first time you need to clear the theory test.
If you have a driving licence for a specific vehicle but want a new licence for a new category of vehicle, i.e. have a driving licence for a bike but now need it for a car, then you need to retake the theory test under that specific category. However, if you want to upgrade within a vehicle category, i.e. from manual to automatic car, then typically, there is no need to take a theory test again.
